If you are absent from school, you are not allowed to participate in practice or a match. You must be in school a minimum of 4 hours to be eligible to participate.
Do Not Miss Practice
We have a very competitive schedule. WE must have everyone attend and be PRODUCTIVE at PRACTICE. The coaches realize the importance of coaching and training from outside resources. These will be excused absences as long as a written weekly training schedule has been submitted and approved by the coaching staff. Verbal proclamations of a training routine will not be accepted. A parent must sign the training schedule and the player must make every attempt to make a high school practice if the coaching staff requests attendance.
Excused Late Arrivals/Absences
The player may, with prior consultation, be late or excused from practice. If you must miss practice, communication with the coaching staff as soon as possible is a must.
Excused late arrivals/absences include:
Unexcused Absences
There is no reason for an unexcused absence or late arrival. Consequences for unexcused absences or arrivals:
Tennis Matches and Tournaments
All players will attend all tennis matches and tournaments unless specifically coordinated and approved by the parents and coaching staff. No one will be released from a match or tournament until after the final team meeting. The consequences for missing competitive team events are the same as for practices.
